Hubpages is a free and easy way to promote your affiliate products. This is an easy website to learn to use and you can quickly put up an article in minutes. Writing an article is a bit intimidating for some, but if you do it a few times, it gets easier and easier. Start with writing about things you know about. Gardening, Cooking, Home Business, Fishing…the list goes on and on. If you’re not an expert on a subject, use the internet as a source of information. Learn about the product you want to promote. With Hubpages, you can add text, pictures, videos and links to your products.

Hubpages has an affiliate section that makes it easy to become an affiliate of Amazon.com, Google Adwords and EBay. You can also track your progress and see how many people are viewing your articles. Don’t worry about the Hub Score. This goes up and down and is not neccessarily an indicator of bad articles.

Using Hubpages to promote your products is a great way for a beginner to get into article writing and an easy starting point. Start writing your articles today and see just how much potential you have to earn some money and have fun at the same time.

You may be thinking, “How can I start a business, if I don’t have alot of extra money?” Believe me, alot of us don’t. Starting a business can be a scary thing. That is what Affiliate Marketing is - A Business. But it’s YOUR business. You can work as much or as little as you want. The best thing about being an Affiliate Marketing Mom is you don’t need alot of money to start. I started at Wealthy Affiliate (which I mention in a previous post) which is a place that will teach you Affiliate Marketing. They charge a monthly tuition, but it’s very reasonable and you can opt out at any time. I highly recommend finding some kind of program that will teach you the “how” of Affiliate Marketing.

Even with the cost of a program, there are other ways to make money on a budget. If you go to Clickbank.com you can become an Affiliate of any number of their products and market them through ads which can be free or some will charge a low cost per month fee. A good place to start with ads is UsFreeAds. You can become an Affiliate with literally thousands of merchants for free. The next time you shop online, scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for an Affiliate tab. That means they have a program.

You might want to try to have your own website. This too is not very expensive. You will need to buy a domain name and get hosting. A few I recommend is GoDaddy and WebHostingPad. If you click on their names on the sidebar you can see there prices are very reasonable.

So as you can see, becoming an Affiliate Marketer is not very expensive to start and you can work from home, which is the best reason to get into the business.
